Rated 5 out of 5 by RetiredandGolfing from Great STIHL product/Great Performance Got 11 years out of first STIHL backpack blower, hope to get that out of new BR 350!!Great for my home use, blows wet leaves, pine needles, thatch in grass; and of course easy clean up of large drive way, pool area, with large pine trees. I suggest using Premium STIHL oil, don’t skimp using other maybe cheaper brands.Never been sorry with STIHL chain saws or their backpacks!! Great Quality for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bill42 from Buyer's remorse I read numerous reviews before before purchasing. Some of the noted deficiencies turned out to be a bigger pain for me than I anticipated. The tube that fits in the tube at the operator handle keeps coming loose. This is true no matter how I tighten it. The shoulder harness won't stay on my shoulders. I'm going to have to rig another strap across my chest to hold the shoulder straps in place. The nozzle came off and was lost in the leaves. The dealer I bought it from has had it on backorder for 4 weeks now. I finally gave up on them and ordered it from another dealer. They got it in one week. The transport strap did not come with it but the dealer has now gotten one under warranty.The other problems I have with it are basically my fault. The unit is twice as heavy and much more powerful than the smallest STIHL backpack. I knew this when I bought it.. This is a commercial grade blower. In retrospect as a homeowner I don't need something this heavy and powerful. I should have bought the smaller one.

Not because that I have used Stihl chain saws & blowers for years, but the back support balances the load & doesn't kill my back when blowing leaves from my 1 acre yard like the hand carry blowers. I was hesitant of purchasing this blower as the air speed is lower than my other hand held one, but this one has twice the velocity of my other one. Just be sure to run 89 or higher octane fuel or the exhaust screen will carbon up reducing the engine rpms. I definitely would recommend one to anyone.

Not as powerful as the bigger models, but perfect for a small landscaping business or a handyman/woman. I love it and would recommend it to anyone. Used it to blow snow off of my driveway and get all my leaves up. Plan on using it a ton in the summer and fall.
